My first Apple product overview-Macbook Air M1 Chip

I have been using a windows laptop for the last 5 years and the difference in what MacBook brought will be clearly explained. I am writing this after using the MacBook air 2020 with M1-chip for 4 months.
1.Performance
The performance of the machine is supercalifragilisticexpialidocious completely insane. I never saw this on any windows laptops which I used earlier, setting up from boot-up to the app opening, closing, and the software is buttery smooth. ‘I never googled until now why my laptop got hang or lag at any sort of situation with MacBook. Unbelievably everything works magnificently, and the mac os tuning made me astounded. M1-chip and 8 core GPU handles the job pretty well, M1-chip made the revolution in the laptop industry.
2.Battery
There were days where I used to track at the battery bar and use my laptop with the worry of battery drain, now I seldom bother about the battery status, a full charge does easily giving me 10–11 hours for my usage. I use the laptop mostly for browsing, development, video calls, and streaming. The use case was the same with my windows laptop but my eyes were constantly seeking the plug box and the port near to me. It is just surreal now when I look back.
3.Display
Honestly, this is the finest quality display screen till now I have looked at and worked on a laptop. The streaming and browsing experience is remarkable, the time flies like a swift when you are watching a movie or web series. My room always occupied with bright light because of the transparent windows of my house, but it did not make to think lack of nits. Even the webcam surprised me, better than my OnePlus 5T camera for video calling.
4.Keyboard
Apple calls it a magic keyboard, absolutely it gives us a feeling of touch to produce magic with words while typing, Farther the best keyboard to date I came across while typing or coding on a laptop, the tactility, and responsiveness are great. As my laptop is a MacBook air, it doesn’t have a touch bar but functional keys do the job well and it is one of the reasons for choosing MacBook air over the pro. The backlight comes in handy while working during nighttime. The trackpad is impressive for scrolling and filled with many gestures for ease of use.
5.Others
The speakers are remarkably loud and clear; I don’t expect you to require an external speaker with this MacBook for watching a movie with friends. The build quality is pleasantly made up of metal but the design continues the same as previous MacBooks.
Cons
Some limitations I encountered with the MacBook 2020 are with the architecture of the M1-chip, As it is arm64 based architecture it was troublesome at finding some development apps and software, but recently the community built has been better, maybe by the next release of MacBook we can expect other software companies build apps natively for arm64 based laptops. second, we hardly get two Type C USB ports and a headphone jack, but thanks to the hubs in the market, hope apple adds some usable ports in upcoming MacBooks.
Finally, M1-Macbook is a big revolution in the tech industry, the trend of creating their own CPUs will continue and evolve. Hope we can see more exciting products in the future.
