What is Email Client?

The email client is an application or software that allows to set up one or more email addresses to access, receive, read, write, and send emails from the required or added addresses. A powerful email client provides a sophisticated interface for receiving, texting, and sending emails of the configured/added email addresses on the application.

I have done a lot of research before writing this article, almost all the apps I personally used, tested on my laptop and mobile phone. I believe that my investment of time definitely transforms your mail activity and experience. ‘Hope let’s make the change and feel the difference.!’

Outlook was my primary app before coming across spark, Calendar to Teams integration, it has a bulk of features but unfortunately, outlook doesn’t offer free service to laptops. we need to purchase an office 365 license to use full functionality, however thanks to my college mail id allowing us to use it for free of cost. But freely available for android and ios. Outlook is the most used software across industries especially in companies for collaborative team environments. Ability to integrate the office365 tools makes it the best.

Gmail, every mail user will be using it daily predominantly for personal use. Ofocurse using an android phone and to inculcate with google undoubtedly we need gmail account. The truth about gmail is google doesn’t have a native app for mac or windows to date, maybe because it's easily accessible in the browser. Gmail app is remarkably used by a large number of people on mobiles. It also has a lot of features for filtering spam, calendar integration, google drive, and so on. Recently they also added google meet and workspace support for easy team interaction and meetings.

Edison, people who like a simple, minimalistic way of handling things then this app is a great choice for you. The UI looks very light and clean and more organized to do the purpose. Unlike other apps, it segregates mails related to travel, bills, deliverables, and entertainment, comes very handy for arranging mail linked for shopping, travel, movie apps. It is a powerful app without any clutters. Edison team also launched their own domain @onmail.com.

I have highlighted only five email clients, considering there are plenty on the internet which only make you confused. My research consists of many email clients including Zoho mail app, Newton Mail, Yahoo mail, Canary mail app, My mail, Yandex mail, Proton Mail, Gmelious app, Blue email, Mail.com, Em Client, Mailbird, MailSpring, etc., If you are interested to try this and share your opinion at the bottom in comments, My priority may not match with your case or I might be missed something. Along with this I also tested apps like apple mail, windows mail, and calendar, Thunderbird, etc., which also does the job well but are dependent on device platforms.
